Mike and I gave Jack his first bath late last night. We were both terrified of doing this but we made it through without too much screaming from Jack. Mike held Jack while I did a quick washing. After we got his body washed we wrapped him up tight in a towel and then washed his hair which he didn't mind at all. He smelled so good after his bath...you know that sweet baby smell that just warms your heart.Jack also had his first doctor's appointment yesterday. The doctor said that he is perfect and everything looked great. Jack had gained 5 ounces since birth and now weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces. He is eating like a little piglet! His head had also grown to 37 cm which is in the 50th percentile. While Dr. Boarman was checking Jack out, he decided to tee-tee on the nice doctor. We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks for his next checkup.
