We spent Sunday working in our yard..who knew it could be so much fun (yeah, right!). Mike mowed the lawn while I cut back all of the ivy and did some serious weeding. Boy, it sure was simpler when we just had one balcony to care for.
Mike and I went to our very first UK home game this weekend. We had our very own tailgating party before we made the short walk to Commonwealth Stadium. The Wildcats played those obnoxious Florida Gators and we left at halftime when the score was 49-7. Maybe next year Cats...
Georgia Tech beat UConn and a good time was had by all...with the exception of one casualty. Someone (who shall go unnamed, even though he has "a real PhD") broke one of our original tailgating chairs (which were wedding gifts from Chris Ward). This is the 2nd chair that this person has broken without any remorse or attempt to replace (I'm not bitter). Despite the chair incident, it was a great afternoon and game!
Jimmy and Taylor are pumped up for Georgia Tech's kickoff game against Auburn. The tailgating began around 9 am and kickoff wasn't until 9 pm...one long day of drinking for sure!
