So excited!

Santa brought Jack and Drew a playhouse for the back yard. Jack was so excited when he saw it. He loves to open and close the front door and thinks it is very cool when Mom and Dad get in the house with him.

Jack got some Mickey Mouse golf clubs from Uncle Spike (or Ppppbbbbtttt as he calls him). Jack loves to play golf and can even say the word 'golf'...we are already working on that college scholarship! He has only hit one person with the club - his Mommy, right on the head.

New York Trip

After watching the Rockettes, we went ice skating at Rockefeller Center. It is a lot harder to ice skate than it looks. But we had a great time trying anyway!

We went to Central Park and stopped by the ice skating rink to have a look. It was freezing cold and there was snow everywhere.

Santa - again!

Santa came to visit Jack and Drew at daycare. This is about as close to Santa as Jack would get - he gave him a high five and ran back to Momma. Of course, none of the other children in his room would sit on his lap (or give him a high five). Maybe next year!

Santa - The 1st attempt

By the end Jack and Santa were great friends...they even did the 'hot dog' dance from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together. Now Jack loves 'ho ho'.
While in Atlanta for Thanksgiving we tried to get pictures of the kids with Santa. Drew was a perfect angel and posed for Santa's elves, however, Jack would have no of it! Finally after a lot of coercing (and bribing!) we did manage to get a couple snapshots of Mike, Jack and Santa.

As a special treat, I took Jack to see The Wiggles in concert. He watches The Wiggles in the morning before school as Mike and I get ready for work. He loved the concert...he watched everything they did and danced and clapped the whole time.

To Hell with Georgia Tailgate

Mike and I hosted a 'To Hell with Georgia' party in our front yard for the UK vs. UGA game. We had a potluck brunch and even had a TV set up outside to watch the Tech game while watching the UK and UGA fans walk by on their way to the stadium. We had about 32 people come over and tailgate with us...it was a fun day!

While my Mom was up visiting Lexington, our project was to convert the sunroom into a playroom for the boys. We had so much fun pulling it together and surprised Jack with a room just for all of his toys! Jack and Drew both love their new room (and I love it too because now all of their stuff is in one place and out of my den!!).

Jack was not nearly as cooperative as Drew in trying out the Halloween costumes. I wanted to get a picture of Mickey and Pooh together but obviously that was not going to happen. Wonder if we will have any better luck on Halloween night??
