Mike Garrett's wedding - Philadelphia

So we only had a day to check out the city before the wedding that evening. That meant we had got to see and do a lot, but it sure caught up with us!

Ride "the duck" through the historic district and down the "beautiful" Delaware River....check.

Scarf down a cheesesteak at the famous Campo's on Market St....check.

Pre-wedding visit to the Liberty Bell, opposite Independence Hall....check.

And finally - what we really came for, Mike & Parisa's wedding!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mike Garrett.

Jack's First Baseball Game

We went to watch the Lexington Legends play for the first time. Mike was excited to take his boy to his first ever ball game. Jack was a pretty good boy and really enjoyed watching all of the people. Everyone kept commenting on what a precious boy Jack is...like we don't already know it!
Jack and Mom walking around the stadium. Jack started getting fussy in the 5th inning so we walked around a little bit to keep him happy.

And he's spent!

Happy Father's Day

For Father's Day we made a whirlwind trip down to Atlanta. We left Saturday morning and drove straight to the Vincent's and met Michele, Chris, Alex and Bradley to surprise Mike's dad. After that we were off to Aunt Virginia's 65th birthday party. Jack was pretty good boy until the very end and then it was time for bed! Sunday morning we woke up and went to my Dad's for brunch. Then it was back in the car to head home to Kentucky. Wow!

Happy First Father's Day Mike! Jack gave his daddy golf lessons and a photo book with pictures of he and his Dad during his first 4 months.

Me and my Bumbo Seat

Here is Jack hanging out on the couch with Dad watching some baseball on tv. He loves sitting up in his Bumbo seat (thanks Emily and Ken!) even though his head still bobbles a little bit.

Beach 2007

Jack in his new outfit from his Gran just sitting poolside taking in some sun.
Ahh...finally they let me do what I want!

Jack LOVED getting in the pool for the first time. He screamed bloody murder until I went and got his bottle. He tolerated the pool as long as he had a bottle in his mouth. If only he knew how long it took me to blow up that darn float he would have at least pretended to like the water. Maybe next year...

Here is a picture of Jack with his cool GT cap on hanging out with his daddy and grandpa.
