Annual Holiday Dinner with the Watkins

Our annual picture in front of the Christmas tree at Centennial Olympic Park. I believe is you check our postings from last December you will see another picture of me pregnant in front of the tree. I can guarantee you that the picture for next year will not be of a pregnant Leslie in front of the tree! (Famous last words...)
Jack hanging out with the boys. Is there a good football game on?

Jack and Emily.

Jack in his new shirt from Great Uncle Toots and Great Aunt Polly. (Look at those teeth!!)
Enough pictures Mom!

Christmas - Round 3

Our next stop on the Christmas tour was at the Vincents. We stopped first at the Chick-fil-A dwarf house where Jack and Mom shared some pancakes and then it was off to Oma and Opa's house for our next Christmas celebration.
Merry Christmas!

Dad...are you as exhausted as I am?

Mike with his Germany soccer jersey.

Opa's favorite gift of the year - a t-shirt with his grandsons on the front.

Jack got lots of great gifts from Oma, Opa, Aunt Michele, Uncle Chris and his cousins. He got a cool Little People garage and some clothes and books among many other things. He is getting used to this present thing - he takes after his Mommy in that respect.

Now Christmas is officially over!!!

Christmas - Round 2

After recovering for a couple of days in Lexington, we headed down to Atlanta to continue the Christmas celebrations. First stop was at my Dad's house for Christmas with the Harris family. Good food, good company, and presents...who could ask for more??
By far Jack's favorite gift of the season - the tiger basketball from Great Aunt Linda. He loved it from the second he saw it and wants to play with it all of the time.

Top Gun Maverick ready for duty!

Izzie, Amy, Dustin, Jack, Mike and Regan hanging out watching some football.

Making the rounds with Grandpa. Jack posed for a picture with everyone there...and made sure to put on his new picture taking smile that Mommy just *loves*.

Hey Gran...did you miss me? Can you say 'cheese'?

Merry Christmas!

The Harris' and Millers joined us for Christmas again this year. Spike and Amelia were able to stay for a couple of nights, but had to leave on Christmas day. Although Jack didn't really know what was going on before the big day, he was full of excitement on Christmas. Next year he'll be an old pro and can show his little brother the ropes!

Spike gets Monopoly: Electronic Banking version. We played a game and it was very cool not to have to mess with all the play money.

Before everyone else woke up, Jack insisted that he and mommy go downstairs to play.

Here is the little man posing with just a few of his presents. He must have been a good boy this year for Santa to bring so much!

Jack and Dad.
"Check out my ride!"

Jack's new All Terran Wagon - we'll have a lot of fun walks around the block with this. Thanks to my four grands - Gran, Miller, Mimi and Grandpa.

The Vincent family (+one) at the end of the day.

Jack and his buddy Santa

Santa Claus came to visit Jack's school and Mike and I knew that Jack would just love Santa...boy were we ever wrong! Jack was not really crazy about sitting on his lap.
So we tried the Santa thing again...and the outcome was the same. Mike took Jack down to the Christmas celebration at the Legion during our trip to Atlanta (the trip that was cursed from the start - 2 hospital visits and 1 wrecked car later, but that is another story).

Get me out of here!

Decorating for Christmas - a 2 day affair

Come on in...

Don't let the mistletoe hit you in the head!

Festive.

HoHoHo

...and we don't even have things that the kids made in school yet!

Miller-Harris-Vincent Gatlinburg trip

This was our 2nd trip to the same cabin in the Gatlinburg Falls "resort". Cabin fever wasn't a problem with many fun things to do - pinball, video games, a movie theater, you get the picture. Jack was a good boy and watched his first movie on the big screen.

Riding in Tupperware is fun enough. If only I had a wagon...

Alright, where's my Milk Duds?

A game of RummiKub.
