Taste of the Bluegrass

Last night Mike and I went to Taste of Bluegrass with some friends. We had a great time trying a bunch of different foods from local restaurants and trying all of the different bourbons and wines from Lexington. My favorite was the Four Roses Rosarita!

King's Island

We decided to get away for Memorial Day weekend, so we packed up the car and headed north to King's Island theme park in Mason, Ohio. It's a huge park, and was not surprisingly packed with people that weekend. Aside from Drew having stinging red eyes due to the sunscreen, we had so much fun and were completely exhausted by the end of the day.

This was Jack's favorite. It's kiddie coaster that whips the kids around a couple of corners. The first time he was a little scared, but the remaining 5 times he had a huge grin on his face the whole time! Click on the video below to see him in action.

Happy Easter

All done! Found all of the eggs and now it is time to eat candy!

Jack really got the hang of finding the Easter eggs.

Someone is very pleased with his Easter basket. He especially loved his new movie Shrek (or trucky movie as he calls it!)

The Easter bunny brought lots of goodies for Jack and Drew.

Jack was in charge of putting stickers on the eggs. He loved helping his Mommy and Mim!

A trip to the train museum

We also went to the kite festival in Lexington but spent the entire time on the castle playground. Drew loved the swing!

We went to the train museum in Versailles, KY. Jack loved watching the trains and wanted to touch all of the Mickey Mouse train cars.

Jack and Drew's Birthday Party in Atlanta

We had a huge birthday celebration in Atlanta for Jack and Drew. Jack was a little tired but still managed to have a great time!
