Baby Jack travels to Blairsville

This weekend we went up to Blairsville for a baby shower for Dana. Here is Dana getting some practice with Jack before her little girl is due in May.

Tanya and Vic came over to meet Jack. They are expecting a baby boy in early May. Tanya and Vic share season tickets with us and we are so excited to have our little ones dress up in their GT outfits and cheer the Jackets on. We also figure this way we are sure to get on TV!

50 days to graduation

On Sunday evening we went to a party to celebrate that there are only 50 days left until Mike graduates! We took Jack along with us and he was the hit of the party...especially with all of the ladies.

On Sunday Jack met his cousins Alex and Bradley. Everyone came to the condo to see Jack (and us too!) and we went out to the park and had lunch. It was very hot and little Jack does not like to be hot (he gets that from him Momma!).

Now that Jack can take baths he doesn't mind getting clean at all. He just sits there very calmly while we wash and rinse him. This is much better than the sponge baths!

So many new friends to meet

Saturday was a busy day for Jack. He went to Edward's birthday party, went car shopping, and had dinner with Taylor and Celia. Look how cute he is in his GT colors. Jill and Adam gave us this outfit and it is so precious!

Thursday night Jack went back to Taqueria and had dinner with Rob and Melissa. We think Jack has a crush on Melissa.

Julie and Max came over last week to meet Jack. Max is 3 months older than Jack...wow, what a difference a couple of months can make. I can't believe how quickly they grow. I'm not sure I am ready for that.

Lunch with Kelly! Jack had his very first lunch at El Azteca (and sure to be the first of many). Jack was a good boy right until the end and then we had to leave because he was having a meltdown. Jack screamed the entire way home from lunch...not so much fun for Mom.

While I was feeding Jack, Sophie decided that she needed to lay on the boppy pillow too!

Sophie is checking out her little brother Jack while he is sleeping. This is the closest she has ever gotten to Jack. She normally just watches his every movement from a safe distance unless I am there to protect her.

Back to Kentucky

On Wednesday we drove back to Lexington for a couple of days. On Thursday Mike went to the first round of the NCAA tournament at Rupp while Jack hung out with me at work. He was such a good boy...he slept the whole time. I managed to get over 2 hours of work done while he was sleeping. I took him down to the MBA center to meet everyone...they were so excited to see Jack. The MBA center is where I would go get my cookie fix while pregnant!

Thursday night I went out with some girlfriends in Lexington for happy hour and Mike was on daddy duty. Friday Jack went back to the doctor and got a great report. He gained 1 lb 5 oz and now weighs 8lbs 11 oz. What a little piglet! The doctor said he is perfect and doing great. He doesn't go back to the doctor until May and next time he gets 5 shots! Friday night Mike went over to Blair's for a boys night and Jack and I went to Karen's house to hang out with the girls. It was a great weekend in Lex.

Bailey and Edward meet Jack

Bailey was a pro at holding Jack and giving him his pacifier when he got fussy. She was such a big help!!

Edward and Jack were fast friends! Jack also got invited to Edward's 2nd birthday party on March 24. It is Jack's first party...we can't wait!

Curi, Bailey and Edward came over for lunch and to meet Jack. While Bailey, Edward and Jack had a picnic on the rug, Curi and I ate lunch and had a chance to catch up.

Boy was Jack happy to try out his new stroller. After getting settled in he went for a quick walk in the park with Mommy and Daddy and slept soundly through the entire trip!

Aunt Michele

Jack met his Aunt Michele today. She came over during lunch and fed Jack while Mike and I had a chance to eat our lunch! Michele also brought over a bouncer for Jack to use while in Atlanta (thank goodness...the bouncer is a real life saver). Jack was a happy boy all afternoon!
